The Copper Skillet

From the skillet, with love

Prep Starts Early

Scratch cooking. Cast iron. No shortcuts.

The Copper Skillet runs on one stubborn idea: if it can be made from scratch, it will be. Biscuits folded before sunrise. Gravy that never met a packet. Chicken brined overnight and fried in the same cast iron pans we season every single day.

We cook breakfast through dinner, one long day of service, because the neighborhood does not eat on a schedule and neither do we. Come in at nine for the hash. Come back at seven for the short rib. The skillets never really cool down.

If the pan is not hot,
we are not open yet.

The Room

Come hungry. Stay a while.

The counter

Twelve stools with a front-row seat to the fire. Coffee refills appear before you ask. Conversation optional, encouraged.

The booth

Deep enough for a long breakfast, worn in exactly the right places. The kind of seat you argue over and then keep forever.

The regulars

They have opinions about the hash. They are usually right. Sit near them and you will order better.
